La investigación de HTS se centra en el estudio de las geohelmintiasis más prevalentes en el país, incluyendo parásitos como Ascaris lumbricoides, Trichuris trichiura, ancilostomatídeos, Strongyloides stercoralis y Toxocara sp. Nuestro equipo se dedica a realizar descripciones epidemiológicas de la distribución de estos parásitos en regiones endémicas, análisis de genes asociados a la resistencia antiparasitaria, desarrollo de técnicas moleculares para diagnóstico y ensayos clínicos para evaluar la eficacia del tratamiento.
